Blackberry Flip Phone
So I felt the new Blackberry flip phone today! Pretty nice! Its about time blackberry came out with a flip. I am not a huge fan of flip phones myself but it is nice to see something new coming to the market. The phone has very squared edges and it has the same sure type keyboard as the pearl. Not exactly for sure on the specs but it is supposed to be comparable to the pearl but from what I understand it is supposed to add 3G like the bold (to be released late august or early september and the flip style pearl will be out shortly after)

If you want a Blackberry that flips open then you are missing the whole point of the device.

That is SO untrue! Blackberrys are desirable because of their functions, NOT because of their appearance. Besides, who says that a Blackberry can't flip open? I think it would be a nice change of pace to have the versatility of a flip phone without having to sacrifice the quality and abilities of a Blackberry. 😁

It's called the "Javelin". It's supposed to be the new and improved Pearl. I'd like to see how well these will sell...

correction, it will be called the kickstart or the pearl 8220...they've both been rumored...however the javelin is a bold w/out the 3g and with a 3mp camera

The 8220, according to a recent report from CTIA will be featured through T-Mobile to start. It will also be an EDGE phone, supporting WIFI.

Actually the javelin only vaguely resembles the bold..it is an update of the curve..it is by comparison much smaller than the Bold and does not have the leather back or the chrome trim..

Here is a pic of the Javelin and Bold. It is just like the Bold but 3gless and the Javlin has a 3.2M cam not like the 2M bold one.
I want this more then the Bold. No 3g issues, cost less and its smaller and the screen is a 1/4" smaller but higher res. I just hope it comes out soon.
