Adventure V750 Keypad

I recently bought a V750 and upon close inspection of the interior keypad I noticed some small strange indentions above the right soft key. They're not very deep or noticeable but I just wondered, is this normal or just a manufacturing defect?

Hi 3am! I have the same phone, but I am not noticing on mine what you are on yours. Maybe I just can't see it. Could be a flaw on yours. You should take it back to a Verizon store and see if another one is like that. I would. I also have a question, so please respond if you would. Is the number 5 on your keypad sort of pushed down some? The rest are raised and round, but the number 5 looks sort of pushed down. Also, when your keypad lights up, is the number 4 and 7 look a little dimmer than the rest? Mine does just slightly, so I was wondering if that was normal, or are all your keys brightly lit. If they are, I need to switch mine out for another too. It's no big deal, I just need to know if that is the way it's supposed to be. Any response...

My #5 is depressed slightly, I think this is normal since it is the center key. My numbers aren't evenly lit either, but it seems as if my top row (#'s 123 are the brightest).

One last question...

Can you change the PTT button to do something besides go straight to the music player or is that a default that can't be set if you don't use PTT?

Hi 3am! Thanks for the response. To answer your question, I haven't found that the PTT does anything else other than go to the music player if it's not activated. Mine does the same thing. I guess it's the default setting, but I don't think you can change it. I've looked in the handbook, but it doesn't say anything about that. Mine isn't activated either, and I think that's just where it goes if it's not. Well I guess my phone is ok. My numbers 12&3 are brightly lit also. I guess that's just how it is made. As to your flaw on your phone, take it to a Verizon store and look at another phone and see if it's the same. You should get another one if it is a flaw. When I first got this phone last week, I thought mine was defective, because I didn'...

The light sensor seems to do the same on mine. Too bad they didn't give us the option to shortcut that PTT button to something else.

I'll have to agree with you there. At least I know my phone isn't defective, since yours is light sensored also. Thanks for your help and response!

You can't change the PTT button to do anything else but go straight to music. I have mine set for Push to Talk 😉
