Ok, so I have been noticing that my BB is slowing down a lot and lagging. Is there any way to speed it up? Also, does anyone know of an extended battery b/c mine dies real quick. Thanks.

Ya run your phone's memory cleaner. It'll clear out the temporary crap that's clogging RAM. You can find it under the advanced options through the options menu.

Thanks for the info tgoace,

I just bought my BB Curve 8330 in 4/09 and hated the fact that the memory fluctuates throughout the day depending on my use. I read in Crackberry.com that you can do a soft reset by pressing simultaneously alt+right shift+delete. This will reset your BB and gain back some memory by removing unnecessary temp files.

I found my "Memory Cleaning" option under Option, Security Options. Once there, you have to Enable "Status" and select Yes on "Show Icon on Home Screen". Once that's done, you just click on the icon anytime on the home screen and the memory cleans itself up, thus freeing more memory.
