Is the verizon blackberry curve international?

help, I want this phone but need it to be international. I know the cingular one is.

No. Not international. CDMA only.

crap , then it is of no use to me, very disappointed that Verizon would not come out with a phone that is comparable to what is already out there.

lol...verizon is not a "world" provider. How can you be dissapointed with them. They offer two world phones (BB 8830 and the Moto Z6TV). If you require world capability, buy one of those.

If you truly travel that much, just go to att and stay there, GSM is a much more international friendly technology.

Im not trying to be a jerk here...but bashing verizon for not making a world phone isn't really fair considering what they specialize in and the technology they use.
