Dare Battery Life
I JUST got the dare and I really like it, however the battery is not that great. Anyone else have this problem? It took me today 4.5 hours to charge it. The battery lasts only for about 28 hours..

few tips on extending battery life:
save your background picture saved on the phone, not on the SD card.
and turn off EVDO (or however that shiz is spelled, lol). This features constantly searches for the best signal..

I know turning off the EVDO extends battery life. I used to know how to turn it off. But VZW has changed the software in their phones so you can't get into the system to change it. Does anyone know how to get in to turn EVDO off?

- Select: Mode Preference
- Select: 1x Only (This is to turn EVDO Off Only)
***To turn EVDO back on:
- Follow steps 1-5 from above and:
- Select: Digital Only Hybrid (instead of 1x only).

- Press Dial
- Service Code: 000000
- Select: Network Select
- Select: Mode Preference
