Visual Voice Mail
Now that the Voyager has Visual Voicemail it would be nice if your newer phone had it too. Come on Verizon step up to the plate. 🤤

Thanks in advance!

it has to be redisigned to be all-touch compatible. it will be here soon (i hope). i want the city id too (which a lot of phones/carriers have had for a long time now)
...
City ID? What is that? Sounds interesting though.

its something that tells you the city/state of the caller. sprint had it on the samsung blade m900 or m990 like 3 or 4 years ago for free, and vzw wants to charge for it. lol
...
If you call someone with your verizon phone your state should come up. I know that VA and NY are currently activated like that. It is coming to all just working it's way through the regions.
The voyager is the first phone visual voicemail will be available on. You can take it to a corporate vzw store and have the firmware upgraded and you will have the visual voicemail. The first few phones will be like that, the firmware will be required. Then once sucessfully installed from factory it will be standard.

Hi Guys I have a new Silver Voyager and it has the calling city id and visual voice mail already installed, sure wish it was available on my Dare also, They both work pretty well.
...
Anyone ever heard of youmail service? works the same. Basically you get a text that tells you who the caller was, service, and city and state. Also you can have your vm transcribe to a text format but that sucks. They have it online at youmail.com.
