Instant messaging on Dare

Is Verizon charging for IMs through Yahoo? I thought I read somewhere it was like sending a text message. Still pissed I have to change a grandfathered $55 AC plan for a 1000 min. if I want to get it.

Yes. Every IM you send/rec they will charge you and if you are on AIM/Yahoo/MSN alot, you might want to consider the unlimited plan.
Adding a txt message plan wont change your contract (if that what you mean, i IDK).
