LG Dare VX-9700
This is what I was afraid of.......
The touchscreen on this phone has already brought on some pretty tough reviews. I really wanted this phone but will probably wait for now...I had a really bad texting experience on the Instinct and this phone may have worse problems...I'm still going to look at it but....

Well that's good to know. If you read that article, the only major complaint was the touch screen. They really liked a lot of other things, but said the touch ruined most of the apps on the phone. Maybe they had a bad one??

I have had sporadic issues where I have to touch something more than once, but I have adapted quickly.
After battling to get the bluetooth to pair with my PC, all has gone very well with this phone.

The phone has a tough learning curve. The Info-Sync guy probably didn't spend enough time getting the hang of it. I was ready to throw it away after a day. After 2 days I couldn't put it down. The touch screen is very responsive and fun to use.

I tend to agree that the touchscreen is not the very best it could be. The iPhone blows it away in comparison.
The review is much more negative than the phone deserves. I have had it two days now and really do love it although i am not impressed with the touch screen when using my contacts list.
This indeed is a major issue to me. I find after two days, getting used to the touch screen has been very positive. I can for the most part have sucess 90% of the time EXCEPT for the contact list!
I keep making mistakes and it takes sometimes 3 to 4 tries to get to the proper contact. The touch screen is VERY sensitive and everytime i try to scroll to a new contact, it will choose a contact that i do not want. There is a small alphabet al...
