I upgraded my LG Chocolate phone for the Samsung Glyde and so far I love it. I am still getting used to the keyboard but I love the touch screen. It has everything that the chocolate has. A little bit about the phone: There's a home button on the front to get you back to the main screen. The dial pad is part of the touch screen and you can also text this way if you prefer. You don't always have to use the qwerty keyboard. The phone locks as soon as you make a call which is really nice. The battery life is ok, i've been playing with it alot the past couple of days so I can't really tell what it'll be like when its mostly standby. The only problem is the back is hard to get off. Which is only a problem if you plan to take your memory card out....

How do you like texting on the touchscreen? Can you use multitap, like, say two thumbs typing at once, or is the interface too slow for you to do that?

I played with it in the store recently, and I plan to buy mine next week🙂

Read my post on it. It's overrated seriously. The touch screen is accurate only 70% of the time and the HTML browser isn't all cracked out to be because half of the time it's more cumbersome to navigate through. I've used the T9 and the multitap function and it's good. However, then when you have the problem is touchscreen accuracy it seriously ruins the phone experience. I want a phone that works 100% of the time, not 70%.

I'm returning it this weekend for the env2.

The interface isn't that slow. Its pretty fast to type on the touch screen I just don't think its as fast as regular buttons, but its still pretty fast
