BlackBerry Pearl 8130
Anyone able to download software onto the Verizon Pearl??
I have been trying to get the application loader on the desktop software to work for over a month and getting no where. I have tried the latest version 4.3 of the Desktop software and uninstalled and tried the older versions as well. I can download programs like Google Maps and such directly off the internet from the phone but cannot get software downloaded from Handango, or other sites to load using the blackberry software. Has anyone successfully loaded software on to a Verizon Pearl? Does Verizon's software keep you from installing?

If you mean the blackberry desktop software, I have downloaded and installed it but its useless for getting the programs to my phone. I am trying to find someone with the Verizon phone like I have that has been able to do it. Everyone I find has another carrier and Verizon has their own software. Any ideas?

Did you use the Desktop software that came in the box? Or try going to the VZW website for it. I've got so many programs loaded on my 8130 I'm running out of memory already.
