There don't seem to be that many cool options....I have a skin right now, but miss the holster with the sensor that shuts down the screen when not in use....

The cases sold at www.seidioonline.com suck ! I ordered the TWO-TONED VERTICAL LEATHER CASE that they sell for $24.95, it is a rip off. The case is huge, the phone doesn't even start to fit snug in the case, I put a skin on it and it is still loose. This was a wast of money ! I just received the lambskin case from Blackberry and it is wonderful, BlackBerry will have additional leather cases available on December 14th. I would stay away from SEIDIOONLINE.COM

On December 14, 2007 three cases (black, brown & red)will be available direct from www.blackberry.com. The quality of the cases and the clip are superior to some other cases available.

The case will look similar to the case that came with the 8830 except smaller.

I saw this exact case at an ATT Company store in BLACK. The 8100 Pearl for them is identical in dimentions except for a .02 difference in the thickness.

I am going to check it out again. Their version has some other differences; however, I do not think it would impact this style case.

The Verizon store actually has a nice case I got with mine. It's black leather with a cutout opening for the keypad and side and top buttons but has sewn in clear plastic to protect the entire screen. It has a magnetic clasp and a belt clip on the back. I have to say leather cases saved my last 2 phones more than once.

i bought one of those and it started fraying the thread on the leather clasp piece within minutes of getting it home :/

I agree the case that Verizon Wireless sells is rather nice, I highly recommend it, it fits well, designed intelligently and doesnt add much bulk to the phone
