What's Up with memory leaking???

K so i read about this so called memory leaking issue! now is this with all blackberrys or just certain defective ones??? I am looking into buying a blackberry pearl, but I cant risk to not get my texts! thanx

I happens with the newer BB's but if you take the battery off about once or twice a month you will be ok. It will not keep you from getting anything it might erase some old call logs and text messages though.

ohhh okay so the new pearl will do this? Old call logs and messages is okay i delete them daily anyway... I just had read that the phone will say its low on memory and wont allow new messages to come into the phone... but good to know! thanx!

Are messages stored on the micro Sd card or on the phone itself??

Phone itself. I don't believe there is ANY phone device that stores messages on a card.

You will not recieve text messages until you do the reset (taking out the battery and then holding down the end key for 15 seconds). This has happended to me a few times and I don't recieve anything until I reset it.

Nothing is stored on the memory card except, pics, videos, ringtones, music and voice notes. Just pull the battery once every two weeks or so and you should be ok.
