Data Charges Problem?!?!
I need help! My bill was 40 bucks higher than usual because of data charges....i have used the internet 3 times, and all three times my phone froze so i have already had to have a replacemen. Other than internet and vcast stuff does anyone know what else the phone charges megabyte usage for?
I talked to a verizon rep yesterday that told me just to view pictures in my pics folder it cost me data and almost everything on the phone costs data. does anyone know if this is accurate? I really have no idea why or how I could have racked up so much data...i dont use the internet anymore i had it blocked and i dont use vcast or anything like that. Help!!
If its costing me to look at pictures i have taken then this voyager is going back.

Anything that you do which causes the voyager to access the network uses data. This means playing a game or browsing the music store uses data. I have also found a bug with backup assistant, this program sometimes get's stuck and will continue to access the network until it can sucessfully sync. Browsing media already stored on your phone is FREE! to assume you are being charged is rather silly of you.

1. You will not be charged MB usage to view your pictures, that rep that told you that should go play in traffic.
2. Anything that connects to the network will cost you data unless you get the Vcast Vpak (15 Dollars A Month). In your case you could of just paid 15 and saved yourself a good amount of money.
If you dont want to be charged stay away from the GET IT NOW menu...lol

seee, i just got the premium package.. but in my line of work i can afford the expensive stuff.. so i got unlimited everything :\ so can't help ya there. any other questions?

I called a Verizon Customer Service rep who told me when I use mobile im that it uses data. I thought that mobile im went off your text msgs 🤨 I upgraded to the $25 Vcast Tv pack anyway..but can someone plz clarify this. My plan was much cheaper when I was on the Americas Choice and just paying $5 for the mobile web 5.0.
