If converted/formatted correctly, they play fine. I have several movies on mine now.

I have converted some to the 3g2 format and they play but the sound is off a little on a lot of them. What do you use to convert.

I personally use Magic Video Converter, but others have used SUPER, amongst other programs, with these settings:

For Magic Video Converter:

1) On the toolbar across the top, select "To MP4".
2) You will see a button called, "Edit Profile", click on the down arrow and select "Add".
3) Under the "General" Tab, select "Mobile Movie" as your type.
4) Now go into your "Video" Tab.
5) Under bitrate, select "Specify Settings" and click "Configure"
6) Enter your bitrate as "384" and click ok.
7) Under video size, make sure you select "Change Dimensions".
😎 Under change dimensions, select "320x240"
9) Under frame rate, select "Change Frame Rate" and choose "30".
10) Change y...

Ok, I'm having problems. I followed the directions from above, no problem. I don't know which file to to convert. When you open a DVD, it has like 8-9 files. I don't know how to get it over to my phone. I dragged it over to my phone, but I when I go to play it, I can't find it. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Here is the method I used. I am using Super 2008.Build.30 I used it to convert an .FLV from youtube so that I could play it on my Voyager. The "preset" I used in Super is 3g2 (Sony Ericsson). Using that preset, I didn't have to modify any settings, and the video worked great on my Voyager without any significant loss of quality.

For those of you that want to try another program to convert, the encoding settings for Super are as follows:

Video: MPEG-4
Scale - 176:144
Aspect - 11:9
Frame/Sec - 30
Bitrate - 144

Audio: AAC
Freq - 22050
Channels - 2
Bitrate - 48

Give it a try...it worked great for me!
