Has anyone had an LG phone to last more than a year? I have had 2 CU400's and I am on my third CG300. My wife is on her second CG225. I like LG phones but am starting to wonder???????????? PS. We started out contract in Sept,06 . Not trying to be smart, just wondering. Thanks, Paul

My wife and I have CU500's, got them before they were available to the public (internal perk) and both phones are in near perfect condition, and used multiple times on a daily basis. They work GREAT! I have a LG CU400 since before they came out also and it works great too! truth, LG makes one of two types of phones, CRAPPY ones, and GREAT ones. In my opinion, the 400/500 series have both been great phones offering great 3G service where available and if you're in an area where 3G is shakey, you could always program it to work of the EDGE signal only. If your phones are within the year warranty, exchange them! You might have gotten 2 duds... sorry man!

That's because LG's cheap phones are terrible. If you want to go cheap, go with a Nokia. They are reliable and have good reception. If you go with a cheap LG like the CU400s, CG300s, or the CG225s, you get what you pay for. Buy a higher end LG like the CU500, or now the CU515....much better phones from LG.

A lesson well learned. Thanks. I really like the CU 515.
