Motorola Q9m / Q9c
just got my q9m!
I just got my Q9m and i absolutely love it! BUt being that im new to Windows Mobile platform, i have a few questions. Is there anyway i can get on to get it now? Also can i take voicenotes during a phone call and record the conversation? does the q recieve pic messages? For some reason i use a website to send myself ringtones and it wont receive the message. Thanks for your help

How is the signal? Phonescoop said it was terrible which is why I have not bought this phone. This is what they said:
"We found signal strength to be a major shortcoming of the Q9M. It rarely had more than two bars of signal strength, even in high coverage areas where other Verizon phones had 5 bars. In my basement, it dropped to one bar or no bars. It completely failed the NJ vault test, where it failed to connect 2 times, and dropped 2 calls after less than 10 seconds. It also dropped the signal in the Lincoln Tunnel, and EV-DO data speeds were frequently slow and laggy."

well im in nassau county of long island and i havent found a single problem when it comes to signal strength. the only thing i dont like about this phone is the fact that either idk how or u just cant receive picture messages.

The websites to send ringtones are for phones you cant get into any other way.
Now that you have a PDA phone, your phone is PC friendly. You can use the included data cable and install activesync 4.5 on your pc.
In the ActiveSync program on your computer you click on the Explorer button and you will see the folders on your entire phone.
You can simply drag and drop files onto your phone.
including mp3 ringtones, JPG wallpapers and programs.
I personally use TCPMP for video playback.
and that allows for
DIVX, MP4, WMV, MP3, WAV and a few others.
Your not limited to just the software on the phone
I also have the following apps installed,
1. Kevtris installed (tetris clone)
2. TCPMP for video/audio playback
