Its capped at 5 gigs, but its noted not to stream or use p2p software with their service. They expect you to browse the web and check email. I tethered my i730 for a month while using p2p and streaming here and there and was only able to hit 2 gigs...so good luck hitting 5 gigs. If you are that into p2p and streaming you should get a real internet connection

How is it possible that no one has sued Verizon for their "unlimited" data packages. The fact that its called unlimited but is capped out after a certain amount of data use is absurd.

They have not been sued because it is in the fine print. They do it because they specifically tell people they are not allowed to host or download from p2p. It is so much that it is considered unlimited. Plus it is a dial up type connection so it is not meant to be an "always on" connection or stream. 5gb is a lot! I would love to see you sue them, because you would never make it to court lol.

p.s. read the fine print you will see it in there.

Exactly. They limit it because it is really meant for business use, not so you can download 20GB of movies and music a month. Remember, these are the "its the network guys" they don't want it to affect their network performance.

also keep in mind although most people do it, if you are streaming it's probably something that you are downloading ie. movies, music, and you are probably not paying for it, which is techinically illegal. 🤭

No, you can't. You have to use a PDA data plan.

What's weird though is that with AT&T, their PDAs and Smartphones can use MEdia Max plans (WAP bundles for regular phones) instead of the PDA plans and just use WAP sites.
