I think he meant Sony Ericsson in particular, and if so, I have to second that wish.
I've never gone back to another manufacturer after switching to SE a couple years ago, but their charging/headphone port is definitely the weakest part of their product line. I don't even use the charger to charge my phone anymore- I charge extra batteries in two old z520a's that I leave the chargers attached to even when unplugged for my and my wife's w810i's.
Sadly, though, it looks like this is not going to be the phone where SE switches to mini usb or something a little more pleasant to deal with 😢
I guess I'll just have to hope instead that it uses the same battery as the z520a and the w810i...
