US Cellular Firmware Leaked

In less than a week's time, the US Cellular firmware has been leaked. Note that the US Cellular firmware is the most desired firmware as it is the pure generic Moto UI AFAIK, no junk programs like Celltop, no third party crap. Just pure, fully unlocked Moto.

You can find the flash here:

NOTE: NO ONE HAS TRIED THIS FLASH YET. FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK. I, NOR ANYONE ELSE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU BRICKING YOUR PHONE. IF YOU DO THIS, THERE IS NO TURNING BACK AS NO VERIZON MONSTER IS AVAILABLE FOR FLASH. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT FLASH THIS PHONE UNTIL A VERIZON MONSTER FLASH IS LEAKED AND ALL THE BUGS ARE WORKED OUT!

Good to know. I want to personally give you a HUGE THANK YOU for letting Mark V and kbman flash your phone. Without the efforts of you three, all this wouldn't be possible. Remember that.

Does this flash disable carrier specific apps (i.e. Sprint TV, Nav, etc) since the Java doesn't work? I would assume so, but it doesn't hurt to ask...

No...it's BREW. It looks like apps like VZNav and GIN will still work, but it's still a baby right now. It hasn't matured. There's no step-by-step writeup, some programs still don't work properly with the V9m since it's so new...I'm still waiting to get my V9m until everything is perfected. There are still issues that need to be worked out.

I have a question, it isn't exactly on topic with this thread but does anyone know if there is anyway to load applications on to U.S. Cellulars version of the v9m? I'm trying to get the gmail app on there, and maybe opera but can't figure it out, If i send a text with a link the phone sais "Broswer Setup incomplete" and if i go to setup my options are "new entry" or "VZW" the latter I cannot edit, I'm not even sure why it sais VZW because it's definately the U.S. Cellular v9m, if I try to use bluetooth to move files onto the phone they just dissapear... can anyone help me with this? To make problems worse... I'm a Mac User.

Since US Cellular uses BREW and not JAVA, JAVA apps aren't going to work on the phone. The ONLY US CDMA provider that supports JAVA is Sprint, and since their data authentication service is completely different than Verizon's, flashing to the Sprint interface will make your phone only able to make calls. None of the data services will work.

You're stuck with no JAVA until Canadian providers like Telus get the phone (they don't have it yet) and the firmware leaks, and even then, it'll be IMPOSSIBLE to use any of Verizon's BREW services like VZNav, GIN apps, etc...
