NY Verizion customers? Worth the trip? Want to make this decision...
I have heard that someone that purchased the phone in NY DEFINATELY got a brown/bronze version. Also, someone in CA but that is too far for me. I could get to NY in about an hour or so.
Is it worth the trip? Will I really see anything different there than I am seeing in NJ and PA? I want the brown/bronze version but all I've seen is the black/silver.
Also, why is it that some Verizon stores have it with a $50 rebate and others have a $100 rebate? How is that possible?

The store in Manhattan where I purchased my phone had a $50 rebate too but they honored the $100 Internet rebate so my phone came to $149 with my NE2 promo. It is Espresso (brown/bronze). I don't know if I'd drive ...

Greggism--I really want the bronze/brown color. Problem is when I call that store (I hopefully called the specific one that you went to--do you have their number so I could double check?), they say it's not really brown/bronze it's more black and sort of brownish/bronzish.
I really want to buy this phone!!!! But really was counting on the brown color. I have a feeling that it just looks different to me but I'd LOVE to get into NY to see if it's different!

I was in the hamilton mall in mayslanding nj lastnight, and that verizon store had the bronze. I also think its how the light hits it, but it was definetely bronze.
