Motorola RAZR2 V8
T-mobile firmware vs motorola unlocked?
I just upgraded from my unbranded razr v3 to a razr2v8 on t-mobile, and forgot how crippled t-mobile makes their phones.
I'm thinking of using the 14-day t-mobile return policy and paying the extra $179 from motorola's site instead.
Does anyone have experience with both versions? Can you list the differences?
In particular, can someone confirm whether the unbranded razr2v8 has the following features (that I lost in the upgrade from my v3):
- ability to set wap home page
- ability to turn off text autocomplete by default
- ability to set custom web session for Java apps
