Blackberry 8300 Curve and wired sync to outlook

I am contemplating switching from Nokia E62 to Curve. I've got several questions I was hoping curve owners can answer.

Will the curve sync w/ my pc outlook contacts and calendar items using the usb data cable?

Can I sync pc outlook contact and calendar items wirelessly to curve w/o a data plan?

Do calendar items including additional text for that entry x-fer over completely?

Thanks in advance.

Everything will sync via outlook with the usb cable - even your notes. However OTA syncing will not be possible without a BES data plan.

Speaking of OTA syncing of the Curve's calendar, do you know of a service that can do this? I was using GooSync with my RAZR, but the Curve doesn't have SyncML support.

GooSync does support the Curve, but I would have to buy a third-party app the will provide the SyncML functionality.

Currently, I'm using Google calendar as the online version of my phone's calendar. I am working with a trial version of Companionlink's software which uses BB's Desktop Manager app to perform a USB sync.

However, I'm looking for an OTA solution for Google calendar.
