I'm not a big Blackberry fan but this REALLY caught my eye. I do have a question though. I work for a AT&T agent store and we don't do a lot of data. I went through a BB training and the rep told us that even though BB isn't 3G yet, it STILL offers great browsing speed because of the propriatary stuff BB has at their main office and because of the way the browser works...does this make sense and more importantly...is it true?

Yes. The browsing speed is great with EDGE using a Blackberry device. Frankly, I think the whole 3G thing is overrated when it comes to handheld devices. For data cards, it's a different story. I totally agree with you but I'm hoping that the BB is better on the battery life than others because it already lasts for quite a long time without 3G but we'll see. I also agree with you about the speeds on a blackberry. I used to have an MDA and the speed was still pretty slow even with EDGE but my BB runs about twice as fast as my MDA did.
