Moto Q Global locking up

I've had my Q since November. The first one I got I had to replace after a few days.

Just this week my Q has been locking up. I think this usually happens when I have had it connected to my pc. when I say locking up, I mean that I can't get the phone to "wake up" I try any button and the screen stays dark. The only way I have been able to recover is by removing the battery and replacing it.

Today the phone has locked up on me twice in about 4 hours.

I just synced my phone with my pc, and was attempting to lok up some info after the sync was complete. As I picked up the phone, I saw the screen begin to fade to black. Kinda like it was adjusting to light...but then it kept going darker and darker until it blacked out. Pressing ...

Did you check your Task Manager to make sure that most your applications aren't running when you sync?
Aside from that, you might consider doing a back-up, then doing a hard reset of the device (wipes it and restores it to factory settings). If that doesn't help, then I'd recommend swapping it out through warranty.
