Waiting for Sprint to Carry

Abramsrau

I just talked to a rep at Sprint. They haven't heard anything about when they are going to carry it. Since ATT and Cingular are carrying it first it may be about 3 months to 6 months longer for everyone else to get it. I am so excited for it, quad band, WM6. Thinking about getting the Q and then getting the Q9 later. The specs also said the Q was AGPS enabled, so it does or does not have GPS capabilities? Any help would be much appreciated. I have read all the reviews and gotten a good idea about the phone. Any other help would be much appreciated.

Q9H is a GSM phone.
AT&T is a GSM carrier.
Verizon and Sprint are both CDMA based carriers.
Verizon and Sprint will never carry the Q9H.

Verizon is supposed to get a variant of this phone called the Q9M.
The Q9M matches more of the original Q in specs rather than qualifying as a stripped down Q9H.
Verizon does well at snipping the balls off any phone that has potential.
As for the Verizon Q9 if you really have that much of a woody for Windows Mobile 6 then be my guest. But your still running it on the same amount of memory and
CPU as the original Q.
Thats why I am seriously looking to get over to At&T and out of Verizon.

When the Q9 GSM comes out (no longer called Q9h) I will leave Verizon. The Q9m is as stated above simply a new case holing the same old parts. While my current Verizon Q is nice, works well and makes me happy I want the newer and MORE powerful Q9.
