Blackjack killer?
The moment I picked up the Q when it came out, I was not a fan of it. It felt cheap and the form factor and button layout felt awkward.
The Blackjack was a much more impressive device and I ended up buying one instead. While a fan, the Blacjack has plenty of issues and I've read posts from many scorned users.
This new Q looks great so far and I'm encouraged that Moto took the device seriously enough to revamp it completely and make it for U.S. GSM networks which is a huge bonus. If the specs are reliable, the new Q will clean up in the Smartphone department especially with the battery life which was the Achilles heel for the Blackjack.
If the new Q comes to the new AT&T, I might make this my new phone.

I could not have said it better. This phone looks great and this will probably be my next phone as well. Seeing how everyone has praised the V3xx, maybe Moto has worked out their past reliability issues.

If reliability is your issue might I suggest the Palm 750 or the HTC 8525? I have used both with almost no issues. Very clean designs, but heafty on price. Oh yeah and size too. I have heard talk of HTCS next device being more like LG's Prada Phone in size.

Extended battery + 11 days standby, 8 hrs talk time...........blows my other BB phone away......ultra reliable.......Verizon eats At&T for lunch for coverage!

That's debatable.

I've found them comparable.

OK Chump, use your Vzw phone in France or England?
...
I think more or less they are equivlent, had both, didn't see a major difference in coverage.

Yeah, I like the 8525 but it is a little too bulky for me. I heard that many people where having problems with the Treo. But the Q9 is just sexy as hell. I cant wait!
