Anyone else have a pixel-burn issue?

Also described by some as a "white-out" area. I've got a pencil tip size batch in the bottom left of my screen that are rather washed and bright, but still transmits colors. This didn't bother me at first but it's quickly becoming an eyesore.

I've got the same problem and it's in the exact same spot! This should'nt happen on a new phone..😡

I think I'm gonna have to exchange it..

On all my previous phones it got gradually worse. Not on this phone yet, but I suspect it will at some point. I hope you have better luck than I have had.

Wow... I didn't expect this to be an issue affecting so many people. This phone does a whole lot for the price, but I'd have paid another $100 for a battery door and screen. The pixel issue is starting to piss me off something nasty now.

well your right..the spot got worse, so I switched it for a new one last night. The annoying thing now is having to install all those programs again! the rep at Verizon hooked me up though..he installed hundreds of old school Nintendo games and he gave the stylus, sleeve and screen protector from the new box, so that's cool..

So far so good, will post if the spot appears again..

this phone still rocks 😎

Be careful with that NES emulator: They're good at crashing handsets. Make sure to delete that bad boy before bringing it for an exchange should you need to again ...
Good luck with the new 6800!

I haven't gotten a chance to post since I exchanged my 6800 in January because of the pixel issue. I just wanted to say that within the first couple of weeks, the burnt pixel appeared again in the exact same spot! But since I love this phone so much and the fact that I only paid $170 after all the rebates, I decided to just deal with it and keep the phone until a new and better phone comes out threw Verizon. I still think its the best phone out considering the price and all the cool programs you can download for free if you go to the right places..and I still recommend getting it over the I-phone..

Well, I resolved my pixel problem... lol.. I changed to the "Touch" yesterday. I have been trying to get them to swap me out, but they couldn't so long as the computer showed mogul's in stock. Once they didn't show any, they could upgrade me to the touch. yesterday was that day. So far loving it.

Yeah, they did jerk me around for a bit, but my two buddies there kept watch for me. The manager was pissed when she found out they had called me to come down and get the "Touch". Because SHE was the one that kept telling me no, they could not switch me out. She said what they did was fraud. But it wasn't. If they are out of a particular phone, they can switch you out to the next best thing. In my case from the "Mogul" to the "Touch". But if the computer still shows in stock, they have to give you the same replacement. Well, my buddies watched the computer till it said no "Moguls" were in stock. Then called me. She said that is wrong, they should not have been watching the computer, just so they could switch me out. I told him, Thats BS. Tha...

I actually sold my first 6800 to a friend who wanted it. I ended up buying another one because I needed something other than my 8830 for storing office files ... and this has the exact same pixel-burn spot. It doesn't bother me this time around, though I do find it funny.

Just an update:
I sold my second one to a friend a few weeks ago, and after having a Touch for 12 hrs, I'm back on ANOTHER new 6800. Guess what? Same 'effin spot. A little less eye catching as the others, but still there. I've switched to a jet-black background, and you can't see it. The only time it's an eyesore is during the white-out text msg screen. This sucks.
