this may be a stupid question...
... but how do you text message on it? do you just type on the back with out reading as you type? (not that i think i have to check every couple of letters to make sure i'm getting it right, it just seems illogical) i just don't see how that will work out for most cell users...

You can either type on the side with the tiny screen(or start a text on the phone side) and flip to the other and type on a virtual keyboard by sliding your finger on the touch pad to choose letters. you can also start a text on that side by choosing from the menus *easier than it sounds believe me* This phone does have a learning curve though.
