Should I buy?
I torn between whether to buy a Samsung Blackjack or an iPhone.
I have heard that there is no IMing on iPhone, is this true? Is it also true that you cannot add ringtones to your phone? I wonder how you get ringtones for the iPhone then?
I think the Blackjack offers IMing on their phone and it's a lot cheaper than the iPhone. So, once again, I am torn. If anyone would like to advise, please do. Thanks!

Well, if you are shopping on price an 8GB iPhone is $400, a 4GB is $300, plus $1680 for two years of service w/1500 SMS. The Blackjack is $100 (online), plus $1920 for two years (includes 1500 SMS).
8GB iPhone $2080
4GB iPhone $1980
Blackjack $2020
It is NOT "a lot cheaper", especially since you don't have Windows Mobile with which to deal (a huge bonus to me).
As far as IM goes, there are web apps I have seen, but not used, that can do this.
You can add ringtones, either through iTunes or using several "workaround" methods. If you have a Mac, you can buy software called iToner for $15 which will load MP3s or AACs directly onto the iPhone. This bypasses iTunes, so when Apple "fixes" the ringtone workarounds, you ar...
