Actually, Samsung has used phones with the vertical external display before (Verizon a930). Also, Samsung is no stranger to the rounded design. The very old Samsung a500 for Sprint was quite rounded. Call, it what you will. If the reception and build quality is as good as the rest of the Tphones it will be a nice low end edition for T-Mobile.

This is not a PEBL knockoff. Its a pretty basic phone...it just has a veritical display and most phones that are made these days have more round edges. The Pebl is not the first phone to have the vertical display. Why is that such a big deal anyway?
