Not the iPhone. . . who cares?

Hopefully, the iphone will light a fire under the collective asses of certain phone makers that see fit to throw RAZR (or RAZR-esque designs) upon RAZR (or RAZR-esque designs) at us as if it were still a big deal.

I'm not sure what you mean by "3G" that you think the phone doesn't have it. It will be at least 1.8, maybe more.

3G as in 3rd Generation data capabilities. It doesn't have WCDMA or HSDPA. Sure it has Wifi, but really (at least here in So. Cal.) you're not going to find too many open/free hotspots. And, sure it has Edge, but that's really not fast enough to do serious web browsing on a PDA type device.

One or the other of us is confused. Perhaps it's me.

It seems to me in all the information I can find about the phone that it is being deliberately marketed as 1.8 HSPDA.

Take a look at Apple's site. iPhone is 850/900/1800/1900 and Class 10 Edge. Believe me, I really wish I was wrong about this. Other than that it's perfect.

Oh... HAHA...

Yeah... If you look at the first message titled (Yawn) you'll see the original poster started talking about the iPhone.. Now I understand why you were confused about me saying it was not 3G...

LOL
