Couple of Issues

I just got my phone last night and I am loving it. I am A HUGE sanyo fan and couldn't wait until they Released the M1.

I am playing around with it and I have run into a couple of issues and I wanted to know if anyone is having the same problem or is it just me.

1. If you have the bluetooth headset is on, the phone will not send an alert to it when something other than a phone call comes in like a text message. So there is really no way to know that you have a message unless you have it on vibrate or loud enough to hear it if it is not on you..

2. If the bluetooth headset is on, the handset is still making noise (rings) when a call comes in even though the headset mode / ringer sound is set to headset only.

I do believe those are just general bluetooth issues that nobody has really worked to resolve.

i think this is with all sprint phones... i have yet to find a sprint device that will actually stop ringing on the handset and only ring in the earpiece... which also when the handset rings the earpiece beeps it doesn't play the ringer or ringtone... on all of my cingular phones ive had it rings with the ringtone thru the bluetooth headset the same as it would on the phone...

It looks like they tried to give the option to fix that because in the settings menu under headset mode you can select the ringer sound to be heard in the headset only. even with that option set you still hear it so it looks like it is not working or they are not considering bluetooth headset to be a legitimate headset. And it would be nice to hear the ringers thought the bluetooth and you would think that you could considering it is compatible with bluetooth headphones.
