HTC Wing / P4350 (Herald)
Wing for $49.99, no activation, 1 year contract
I followed the link in the T-Mobile thread and got the Wing for the above mentioned deal. No data plan required, no internet plan, no surprises.

I received my new Wing yesterday through this promotion. Except for a SIM card error (which was corrected when the local T-Mobile store replaced the SIM), everything works fine. The price, contract length, etc. was as expected.
Not sure about the rebate though. I checked the rebate form and saw that in order to qualify, you had to have a data plan of at least 9.99 on the device. I don't have the form with me so I can't give the exact language. I didn't have to add a data plan to get the Wing, but you may have to have one to get the rebate. Has anyone received a rebate without a data plan?

Good question. You may want to follow the Howard forum to ask the question because someone there just talked about receiving their $50 rebate.
