The batteries are the same, just get an extra one in box.

I bought the extended battery and battery cover directly from Samsung. The battery is fatter and the cover basically raises the entire back of the phone to the level of the hump on the camera so there is no hump at all. REALLY great battery life and actually feels better in you hand being just a tad thicker. I put the 2 batteries and charger box that came with the phone in a drawer.. Just don't need it now
