Clarification on PDA Plan/TEXT/IM

Djanifer9512

The plans required for the Samsung BlackJack are as follows....

$44.99 PDA Conn UNL (unl internet & email) -$5 w/ voice plan $39.99+.

$54.99 PDA Conn Max (unl internet & email + 1000 SMS/MMS/IM) -$5 w/ voice plan 39.99+.

The BlackJack is classified as a PDA by Cingular because it has a QWERTY keypad. But it runs the Windows Mobile 5 for smart phones OS.

Yes that is what cingular wants you to pay. BUT for 29.99, I can get unlimited email and internet with 1000 MSG via medianet plan and everything works perfect. I still get 3G speeds, and I with opera mini, I get full html sites. PDA connect plans are just a pure rip off. But spend the 54.99 while I spend the 29.99 and save 25 dollars a month.

The network recognizes when you have the incorrect data plan on your PDA/SMT Phones 🤭 . When this happens, users are typically charged on a pay-per-use level 😛 .

thats because 3g is just comming out
trust me they will know at some point in time
u can only use some much data on that device till it is noticeable

plus thats why data is so expensive because we don't make money unless we have u on a plan above 39.99 and features added to your accounts
so
if Cingular goes broke we know why
LoL

cingular isnt going broke...EVER. and with their recent .5 raise in sms ppu that just brings millions more in revenue every year. 3G isnt going to affect anything as far as them catching you. Heavy data user for 3 years and never once caught and no one will be unless they tethered on medianet plan.

LoL
what do u do for a living .... lawyer maybe
did u ever go out for the debate team in highschool ?

i mean everything i say seems to be WRONG
i guess ill just let u win because arguing with u it pointless

everybody that has a legit question ill glady answer for u
but otherwise i don't have to argue
u will see what goes on in the future when u keep using data the way it is
oh and also
because we make billions next year doesn't mean its profit
we have employees to pay and towers to build and marketing to pay for
commercials
thats like u telling me that the airlines won't ever go broke
but isn't that what is going on now anyways????
just cause people have to fly doesn't mean they make money everytime same as just...

did you really just compare the airlines to cingular? The airlines cost a fortune to run everyday. Repairs cost a fortune.

You sell voice and data and rip off consumers in the process. A .5 increase if a 50% increase and that .5 is all porfit. It cost 100th's of cent to send a msg and you are charging out the ace for it. Cell phone companies know they rip people off and that is why they arent upset when they lose a customer.

hmmmmmmmmmm
wild argument huh

profit is right
of course we gain profit anytime we sell something we get potentional profit

do u think we pocket all that money and continue with the same service every year
no we apply that money to upgrade our network
how do u think we stay number 1 not because we gained profit its because we have to do it better than everyone else

""We continue to make progress in all aspects of our business," Chief Financial Officer Pete Ritcher said during a conference call with investors. "We still have a lot of work left to do and synergies to drive to fruition ... but we have a tremendous amount of heavy work behind us.""

to me that doesn't sound like he took the money and ran

also if u did for...

what an idiot....the CFO, CEO and everyone else is gonna say everything the right way. Of course they continue to build so that they keep up with technology but its not my problem that they bought ATT and I see no reason to pay more for anything. You are defending people who dont give a eff about you, a lonely pathetic rep. You dont get a raise off increased profits, the big boys put the extra profit in their pockets. Im fully aware of the acquisition, I dont need to read about it. You being in the whole isnt my problem but yet cingy takes it out on the customer with increased rates when there isnt a need for one.

u know your absolutly right
your the first and only customer of cingular to be completly right and we are all wrong
enjoy your cingular coverage cause for the people that actually pay the money for the right stuff on their phone
they keep your bars raised

I left cingular and am much happier with my sprint phone and bill which is half the price of cingular.

And once again, your post hold no validity. People paying extra doesnt keep the bars raised, it just puts more money in big wig pockets. The profit made off data and sms is absurd.

u think we were expensive ..... give sprint some time to show u they are worse .... not only in the coverage department but also in the billing anbd customer service side
i sold sprint too and they have tons of morons working for them
plus GSM is way better than CDMA

all that arguing and u don't even have Cingular anymore

speaking of Validity where is yours .... your not even a customer of cingulars !!!
