Samsung BlackJack SGH-i607

Hi, I recently aquired a blackjack, and i am not as phone savvy as most of you here.. my questionis, i keep getting a 'storage full' message, so i purchased a memory card, but i still get the storage full, which prevents me from recieving or sending texts (and i am a text messaging junkie) 🙄 . but the memory card is empty. where do i go to transfer stuff over from storage to the card, or how do i clear out the storage? i looked, but cant figure it out.
