Good hides Phone contacts and Speed Dials

I transferred all my old cell phone contacts into the BJ and they worked fine. Then I had the Good link downloaded for my company email. It works fine, but the only contacts I can find are the Outlook ones, not my old phone contacts. None of my speed dials work, and can't seem to find a way to speed dial with the Good/Outlook contacts.

Any tips on how to get to the previous contacts?

Thanks!

I had the same problem. What I did is a little tedious, but I have lost all of my contact info before, and I never want to go through that again!

What you have to do is open your contact list, then highlight an "old phone" contact and hit "OK". Hit 'menu', then (2) 'save to contacts' Edit the information, add information or change it, then hit 'done'. It will create a "new" contact that you will be able to sync with your other contacts. Then just delete the "old" contact.

You can do the reverse as well if you want to save an Outlook contact to your SIM card, thus enabling you to save that contact to you speed dial.

Hope that helps!

Thanks, I hadn't thought about that. Meanwhile, I have found the "old" contacts are available under the "start" soft key and contacts.

For some reason, for about a day after I first discovered this, it wouldn't open the contact, but now it does. I have no idea if some other setting I changed caused that or it was just glitchy.

The other thing I find really wierd is that I couldn't get my Outlook contacts to show up, but then I went in and edited the number down to under a 1000 (it's a huge database collecte over 10 years and three companies with lots of other folks work contacts too) and now it shows up. I'm used to my regular PDA not having any trouble with the numbers, but hey, I can't call Timbuktu on the PDA either.

I guess...
