Since the Blackjack has infrared on it for beaming, is it possible to have a remote for a tv on it?

yes there is software out there for it but it usually doesnt work that good.

I wasn't aware that the Blackjack had infared...it's listed as a missing feature on phonescoop and I can't find it anywhere..

I had an app on my HP iPaq called Nevo. It worked great, but I'm not sure if it will work on WinMo SmartPhone.
