I was sitting at my desk the other day with my phone next to me, opened up, when by accident I knocked off the desk onto my hardwood floor. Darn LCD screen inside the phone cracked. I couldn't believe it. The front screen still works though, just can't see anything inside the phone. Phone is about to be sent to Nokia to be fixed. Can't wait to see what that bill is going to be for this. Great holiday gift, huh. Moral of the story: be very careful with your N75. Mine was a refurbished one, don't know if that played a role in this event or not, but don't let that phone fall on anything unless it's as soft as a pillow.
I bought a really nice (and cheap) plastic clip-on cover which should also act to absorb some shock if the phone is dropped (but I don't plan to test it). The cover I bought looks very nice and has a slightly "rubberized" feel to it. Cost all of about $4.00 on Ebay and looks like its an original part of the phone.
Ha, i just got a refurb... cause my other one had un controllable data issues...
yours must have been defective... cause long story short my wrist strap got caught on a fan blade when i was goofing around and the phone flung across my room.. hit the wall... and its still fine 😁 lol
