There has got to be someone within Cingular that really knows the skinny on this. Have to quit listening to the "higher ups" .. and find somebody in receiving ... or shipping on the Nokia side.

I have a Cingy source that claims they won an N75 recently .. but she hasn't got hers either ...

I'm voting on the rebranding thing .. I posted that about a month ago ...

I guess we will all see .. and soon I hope ..

Today or yesterday, I dont know, the Moto V3xx Platinum was released and it seems to be the first phone branded AT$T. Take a look at it:

Maybe this means no more Cingular branding like someone previously said...I hope not though cause I just want that N75 as soon as possible with whatever name!!!!!!!

That is just a software flash really simple to fix. I can and have flashed phones to add Cingy, T-Mobile, Rogers etc and also removed the software to make it unbranded.

I would imagine if it were anything it is the Box and Cover. Again I would not imagine they go through a major expense on Rebranding when they are already selling Cingy Phones and the Stores Say Cingy on the outside etc.

With the phone being added to other sites like Amazon, Nokia, etc I would guess it is due soon. The dates we see on stores like CTI-Miami and Negri IMHO are really little more than a guess. Plus they would not be buying form Cingy I would imagine that has little if anything to do with Cingy release of the phone.

The Red BlackBerry Pearl released in March had AT&T branding (the logo on the retail box, the phone's shell, and the software logos). The Nokia 2610 released in early April had Cingular branding. So who knows what is going on.

Just stop by two Cingular stores & was told by both that the target release date is May 7, 2007! Let's keep our fingers cross? 😎

Speculation only, the hold up may be from Nokia. We heard at the end of Dec. that AT&T wanted their software on these phones. That they were going to be reloaded & Nokia was not happy. I bet the first order would be at least 100,000 pcs. That is alot of phones to open up & reload software, repack & reship. There is no way Nokia would replace the shells over a screened logo. If these phones boot up AT&T we will know, because this phone was announced as a Cingy phone.... soon I hope. I will wait because there is no other phone avail. that I want, even from other carriers.

I think your right, why else would the n76 be being held back too? Its release date has been being pushed back the same as n75, who knows.
