This phone looks like that damn Sanyo 7400 what was the point of making a phone look like a previous phone? sanyo makes ugly phones. they started coming out with cool phone finally like the M1 and the Katana

Upgraded software, but no camera. It does seem like a bit of a jump backwards. I rarely run across people that want a phone without a camera in it. It is a bit more sturdy when it comes to the "joints" on the phone but other than that I don't know.

If you want a "cool" phone then buy a "cool" phone. If you want something reliable and won't break into pieces every time you drop it then get this. I recently "upgraded" to the SCP7000 from my RL7300 because it could not take any more of the abuse I put it through, but it is not nearly as tough and rugged in my opinion. However, this is the only rubberized phone I could find and it fits the bill. It's a phone, not a media center. You make calls, you receive calls. It does have web capabilities and it has a great speakerphone. An excellent choice for a no-frills phone that WORKS.

The SCP 7000 gets my vote.

(PS: Define "cool")
