Sorry to ask but under search i didnt find anything on this topic which Im sure has been ebatent od eath.

Can I setup the $20 smart phone plan on my own and still get the treo to work with it, or do I have to fork over $40 a month with the pda plan?

I know the blackjack could do this but wasnt sure about the treo which im heavily considering.

All I really want is occasional web browsing, googlemaps, and a 3rd party AIM/YiH/ICQ client, leaving the IM client running most of the day.

Oh and has anyone left the IM running all day and will it hold up or the battery die too quickly?

Penny for you're thoughts?

How they can charge $45/month for the exact same service just beca...

Do you have the orange and white 64k sim? If you do turn it over and it should say 3g on the gold contact side. If it does then you shouldn't need a new sim.
