Never fear, my friend. Hot off of the rumor mill: Cingular will be getting this phone with one extra bonus. It is supposed to have PTT. I'm not a fan of PTT, but because I have been a Cingular customer for a very long time (and really don't plan on going to another carrier anytime soon), I have definite plans on getting one of these beauties as soon as they hit the stores. I'm upgrade eligible now, but I'm saving it for this phone.

Im upgrade eligible in Mid-July hopefully the QWERTY pearl comes out by then...I Have never used suretype and i'm quite scared of trying it though my parents have been talkin about goin to verizon when are contracts up so IDK.

Oh I also forgot rumor from engadgetmobile is that cingulars pearl will trade in suretype for the qwerty thats been known though and possibly trading a camera for WiFi. I'll take the WiFi over a camera anyday cuz i hate cinglars data plan it blows compared to verizon.

are u speaking of the blackberry 8800? that has both full qwerty an wifi? which is something different from a pearl. Just like always blackberry makes both styles of there lovely devices avaible. A carrier would be silly not to carry both styles.
