ATT SIM in an unlocked T-Mobile Dash - need expert help!

Hey, I have an (former) ATT blue SIM in an unlocked T-Mobile Dash, but can't seem to get ANY sort of internet access working. I've tried anything and everything out there, but none of the settings that work for Cingular "orange" users have worked.

Could anyone PLEASE, PLEASE let me know what your settings are for GPRS and Internet Explorer if you're privvy to this? Wifi is nice and all, but not readily available most of the time.

Thank you so much.

Or if anyone else sees this and has some insights/tips....

First thing you need to do is get a brand new SIM card. Those old SIM cards and phones are not fully compatible with the updated network of the new ATT. You may still be out of luck though because each carrier has specific information built into the SIM and the branded phone to connect to their network. Using unlocked/unbranded phones usually means that you will lose some functionality including Internet access. Have you tried calling ATT tech support?

Thanks for the info, but I am actually fully functional now (with the ol' ATT SIM) and lovin' this phone.

Tip: to download Windows Mobile 6 to upgrade an unlocked Dash OS, all you need is a T-Mobile phone number to "plug in" (a friend's, etc.). T-Mobile only verifies the number entered as one of their numbers: not whether it's a Dash-related customer or not.
