ringer id help

when i set a ringer id to ring when a specific person calls. i want it to ring only when they call. yet it rings on text messages from that person also...is there a way to turn this off so i can have a normal ring for text messages and a song for a phone call?

I don't think so, but you could try setting the text messages to silent under the details of each profile
