whats the difference between the 4.99 and 5.99 insurance plans? do you have to pay the 50 dollar deductible for the 5.99 plan or only for the 4.99? I paid for the 5.99 but if thers no advantage im thinking of switching down and saving a few bucks

The 5.99 insurance plan is more or less meant for the higher end priced phones. Asurion wants customers with more expensive phones like PDA's and Smartphones to pay a little more monthly since the retail price is so high. I have the 4.99 plan and have not seen any advantage to go to the 5.99 plan.

The higher price plan also covers all of your accessories chargers, bluetooth etc....

The higher price plan also adds "Verizon Wireless Extended Warranty," which "covers manufacturer defects."

The phone comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty, and this kicks in after that. Kinda like the Best Buy extended warranty (Just Say No!).

I just called and switched to the lower plan 😉

I keep the TEC - (Expensive insurance) - I have a v710 (and will keep it until they get there heads out of there a$$es)

Why? Any problem with my v710 (warranty) and they have to replace it. Next time it breaks I may just get an e815... how's that for a NE2?
