some of the CONs you guys are posting are because of the verizon UI, for example:

slow response to buttons
not being able to start music from outside buttons

etc...

there are other versions of the phone out there. the alltel one which i have (with all of these things enabled because of the moto ui), the sprint one coming soon, and other cdma carriers testing it such as USCC.

i totally agree. most of the complaints are related to the crappy Verizon software that's installed. It's pretty much like video game machines. IT's the games that really make it or break it for the machine and not all the specs. I bet the GSM versions of these phone don't have most of the CONS listed in this forum. The original moto software running on most moto phones are pretty good until Verizon decides to put their own crap on it.

Is there a way to complaint to Verizon? I was looking forward to get this cell phone, but I don't want it if they have the crappy Verizon UI on it and crippled all the features.

Yeah, but it is so much more expensive thru alltel... especially with NE2. Any suggestions?

hey cuttme2pieces, I read that you have the alltel version of the krzr. do you use it on the verizon network? if so, how did you get it to work? did you flash it? please send me the details asap because im very close to returning my krzr just because of the horrible verizon interface. my email is speedyhen@gmail.com

it's very easy to do this. the only problem is once you flash it, you can't undo it.
and of course the phone is still programmed to read data differently, so your data, pix, and ringtones won't work when your sending recieving though the handset
