Well, i got a surprise today. It came on friday (today) instead of monday like fedex said. I am in virginia and it arrived in richmond early so they delivered it. I am so excited and the phone is truely a work of art. The design is amazing and the interface is not too bad. Verizon did not abuse this phone at all. Cant wait to show it off to all my friends. Good luck to all 'yall with getting it soon. I predict since most phones were shipped early yesterday, then many people will get it today aswell. Good luck and enjoy.

Question about the Krzr, I guess this is a UI question. when you type in some text, is there still a delay? Wife has the RAZR and she hates that about that particular phone. Is the KRZR any better? I'm hoping so. How does it feel in your hand, is it too narrow?

Hello, I just had a few questions. How much is the KRZR phone? And as well I have verizon, so I am wondering what is the date that it may be released for verizon customers. What wireless carrier do you have? Please reply soon! I am very interested in your answers!

Why?

Would be a great phone, if it weren't (yet again) for Verizon's short-sighted and foolish desire to wring every dime from you for the most simple of things. No matter where I load files on my TF card, the phone won't see it. The TF card is only extra memory for Get-it-now purchases and photos and video taken by this phone. Unlike my old Moto, (and after an hour and a half on the phone with tech support) you cannot email the phone from a computer. I would even be willing to pay Verizon to get my old ringtones and pictures from my V710 to this one, but of course I can't. I've been playing with the phone for only 24 hours and am finding more and more things that are missing- you have to open the phone to access the speakerphone (yo...

well, it's a given that VZW would limit what you can do with phone esp. when it comes to copying your own data to the phone via PC. If that's really the issue for you, you should get the GSM version w/c won't have any of the carrier's limiation. VZW would do such a thing anyway since they charge for everything. That's a given. I would like to hear more about battery life, reception, speakerphone clarity and volume. You know, the basic functions of the phone.. If all of these other stuff is bad as well, then the phone is junk. I don't think it's fair to rate the phone so bad based on 'nice to have' features that you know is limited by Verizon itself.

I agree with Klapper. Let's hear about the everday features of the phone. Clarity, text messaging, battery life, camera. Not everyone needs to be able to sync their phones with their pc's. If you want a "Smart phone" look at one of the Treo's or a the "Q" phone. We will all find things that we don't like in phones, there is no perfect phone. We just want to hear about the everday features, after all it's a cell phone, not a computer.

I disagree. What is a given? That the phone can do LESS than what a TF card could do on a V710? Less than what you can do with the V3c, but that's what you EXPECT from Verizon?

Crazy!

Do you honestly believe that the phone is the one preventing you from copying back and forth data via the MicroSD card. I have a Moto Slvr L7 and i can copy whatever i want to the phone. Obviously, it's VZW that cripples the phone via their dumb software. So if it worked for your v710, great! one less phone that VZW missed to screw around with.

I know exactly who crippled it, that does not change the fact that these features are not on what is supposedly the newest and best phone. I also wrote that there is no way for me to PAY Verizon to load my own MP3's on the phone, and that's according to tech support. So far, it's get-it-now or nothing. I can no longer email a text massage to the phone from a computer, which was a very useful feature. I cannot send pictures to PixPlace (errors out). Battery life seems good, but it damned well better be better than a 2 year old phone on it's original battery. Reception is not as good: I missed a phone call in an area that the V710 never dropped a call. You can't access the speakerphone or change the ringstyles from the outside left keys...

OK so what I got outta your post is that basically you cant put pics, mp3s, videos etc. on the phone that you download from your computer like you could with a V710? that does kinda suck especially if you use to it but is that phone really worth 1 star? Are there any better phones then this out right now that can do the aforementioned things? Please share because mine will be at my house on monday and if its really that crappy i'll just leave it in the sealed box and sell it on ebay.

I don't know if there's a phone out there that will do this, but there's a phone in my house right now that will nad that is frankly only incrementally smaller, if a lot cooler looking. So what's the incentive to keep this one? I wouldn't go out and buy a new car that has 2 out of 5 gears locked out and makes me pay a quarter every time I wanted to turn on the radio.

The only thing that comes to my mind right now is to report it to B.B.B. and lets all start complaining about the Verizon UI. Please correct me if I am wrong but isn't this somewhat similar how the whole lawsuit against Verizon and the V710 started?

OK, let's do it again. The Bluetooth is worse than the second release V710.

Look at how the new phones are abandoning carkits now:
