over in the "Review: LG Chocolate" discussion:

is it supposed to?

I just purchased the white chocolate off of ebay. Its used and the guy did say it had some wear on it, but for some reason to me the slider, once open feels just the slighest bit loose. Like 2 mm movement is possible if not 1.... but its still just something i wasnt sure if it is normal or just that it was used?

How to change default ringtone for Calendar

Does anyone know how to change the default ringtone for Calender events? I'd rather not listen to ringtone 2 each time. I can change each one individually, but it would be eaiser if there was a default I could set.

thanks

Bitpim - will my VX8100 data cable work with the Chocolate or do I need Music Essentials kit??

I am seriously considering getting the Chocolate, and currently have the VX8100. I use the same data cable for my 8100 and my hubby's 9800, and transfer ringtones etc with Bitpim. Will the same data cable work for the Chocolate?

If the same data cable works, would there be any reason to get the Music Essentials kit? What does it let you do? What does the CD do? Anything more than bitpim? I see that the kit comes with stereo headphones. I currently use some Jabra headphones with my 8100--will those headphones I have work with the Chocolate?

The only reason I would see to get the Music Essentials kit would be if my data cable and my stereo headphones for the 8100 don't work with the Chocolate. Or I suppose I could look for a c...

So I have some music on my phone that I play through the little media player, but what i want to do is get that music to be my ringtone as well as be playable in the media player.

*Euro version to U.S. compatibility*

Hi everyone, I am currently in germany studying for a semester, and I bought a chocolate, with the intent that i would be able to bring it back and use it in the u.s. The guy i bought it from assured me that this would be possible, but i'm still slightly wary because, i mean he was trying to to sell me a phone. The phone itself looks slightly different from the american version, (the front buttons look like the korean version) but other than that i'm pretty sure that it is the same phone, other than the fact that it is known as the KG800 over here. I was just wondering if anyone knew if there was anything i needed to do before it was possible to use this phone in the us, if i can only use this phone with verizon service, or just anything i s...

I have the Moterolla HS850 head set and on my V I could get the music to play through the head set but I can't seem to find a way to make it play through the headset with the chocloate.

VX8500 Compatibiltiy with KG and other VXtypes

Okay,
So I don't want to go into Verizon and buy the dang car charging kit. But ebay has sellers selling only the car charger for like 5 bucks. Anyone know the compatibility of the American chocolate? Seems like there is a GSM version out in the world that is a bit more square than the VX8500.

The ebay listings say that the same car charger is compatible with VX8500 VX8600 KG800 VX9900. Does anyone know this to be the case or not?

For 5 bucks it may be worth it.

LG white chocolate??? vs lg 9900

I am now due for my every two upgrade. It is $100 towards the price of a new phone (probably the last time I'll get the $100). ANYWAY, I have the Q which I have no problems with, but do not want to lose the credit of $100 as VERIZON says that if it is not used within a certain period of time I will lost it. Should I get the LG 9900 or the WHITE CHOCOLATE??? ANy thoughts?
