soooo anyone know the....

....battery life on this thing. Because i love having extra features, that's all good and fun. But i would reallie like to know the batt life on this thing. For a fone thats coming out so soon there sure is very little info to go on.
My guess would be that it will be around 3.3 hours but if its around 5 i would get it asap ๐Ÿ˜

In stock already, official release date 5/1...very cool phone

All corporate stores should already have stock. Official T-Mobile sell date is 5-1-06. No price points yet. VGA camera, no expandable memory, same OS as the T809. Thinner than SLVR and not as wide but longer. No USB port and charger port is unique. I have the phone in my hand. Reply if you want a pic of phone in hand.

T509 - STILL HAPPY WITH IT

๐Ÿ™‚

I've had the phone a few days now and it's still fun to use. The reception problems are because of where I live, not the phone itself. I have fantastic reception at my job. Also, because I take the train to and from work, T-Mobile has service at some of the underground stations which is the bomb.
The screen is great, the buttons large and easy to use and the ring volume is pretty good. I donwloated a ringtone into it a couple of days ago - not as loud as I'd like.
Overall, so far I'm happy with it.

Does the display have 65K or 262K colors?

Many websites are split on the quality of the T509's display. I've read reviews that praise the T509's display, which leads me to believe that there are 262K colors. CNET.com confirms 262K, but Phonescoop.com and others confirm 65K colors. The T-mobile website doesn't get into specifics either. Can somebody give me a straight answer?

T509 VS the Razr

I have the Razr now for tmobile.
I am interested in getting the T509.

My question is. How does Instant Messanger (AIM) compare on this phone to the razr.

I had the Samsung E715 before and the AIM was horrible, its great on the Razr.

What do you guys think?
Thanks

SGH-T509 Good? Bad? Ugly?

Hi:
I'm with Verizon and have been shopping for a carrier that has a variety of phones. Just noticed this phone, like the looks and what I'm reading about it but wanted to get the straight scoop. Is this phone worth it? Right now I have a LG-6100 which is a good phone, but it's becoming boring. Also, how do you feel about T-Mobile and their service & coverage areas?
Thanks.

Price, $49.99

The price on the t-509 with a 2-year contract is 99.99 - 50 dollar mail in rebate = 49.99 for a phone which has a camera, video, speakerphone, bluetooth. That is an awesome deal.

with 1 year contract is 149.99 - 50 MIR = 99.99 + tax.

not bad for the price... T-mobile exclusive

Coming very soon!

This phone is amazing. I've seen it. It's thinner than the SLVR and it's from Samsung so you know it's going to be more reliable. It doesn't have an MP3 player but the SLVR is limited by iTunes anyway. If you are looking at the SLVR just a wait a few more weeks and check this thing out too!

Question about the T509's display....

Phonescoop is claiming a display of 65,000 colors. However, I found other websites claiming 262K (mobilecityonline.com). Who's right?

EDGE

The T-509 does have two things that the SVLR does not have. EDGE and the great Samsung UI. The UI is so slick and easy to use! I could show anyone how to get around in the menus in mins.

Just because its....

...thin and is a bar type phone makes this a knockoff? So that would mean all mobile phones would be a knockoff since they all have buttons, speakers, a mic and wireless antenna.
